Kegel exercises are more important for pregnant women. Because with Kegel exercise, you will feel more comfortable before, during or after your baby is born. This Kegel exercise is done to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and allow for smoother pregnancy. Because, pelvic floor muscles become weak, once you give birth to your child and it may result in many bladder problems like urinary incontinence and fecal incontinence etc.

Using Kegel exercise, the first step is to identify which muscle part is creating disorder. You may identify target muscles, pretend that you are trying to stop urinating. Squeeze those muscles for a few seconds and then relax. Repeat this every few seconds. It is a simple Kegel exercise and make sure you breathe while doing Kegel exercises.

You must ensure that you are not overdoing Kegel exercise in the first few weeks after giving birth. You can do three sets of ten repetitions per day which is best for new moms.
